@janflowers, to respond to your question, I don’t know of any such check list, to the best of my knowledge. I put together this document: http://notes.openmrs.org/summit-checklist which lists what needs to get done in what I believe to be descending order of importance/priority. Everyone, please feel free to contribute to it.
@lober, agree. We have currently advertised for this role. However, not sure if it involves money handling, at least in an OpenMRS context…
There are no concerns other than I’d say we should hold off on hiring someone. There are more pressing concerns. Engineering is more important. Things are stable right now as far as infrastructure is concerned.
One thing that might be helpful – is if we could put out some money for infrastructure so we have some reasonable expectation of uptime. We have far too many of our essential services on IU-XSEDE. For those unaware, we have no real guarantee of 24/7 uptime. I’m sure everybody remembers all IU-XSEDE servers being inaccessible and me spending about 2hrs (at 230am mind you) trying to track down why so that I could keep people in the loop.
