Hi Everyone!

We are now scheduled to have our next OpenMRS Community Stand Up a.k.a Scrum of Scrums on September 4th 2019 at the following times

  • UTC: 16:00 - 17:30 PM
  • PST: 8:00-9:30 AM
  • EST: 11:00 - 12:30 AM
  • CEST: 17:00-18:30 Hrs
  • EAT: 19:00-20:30 Hrs
  • SAST: 18:00-19:30 Hrs

IST: 21:30 -23:00Hrs

Why Do We have this call?

This is a platform for all community members working in various implementations to share what they have been working on (features,functionality, User Interface design improvements etc) on in the year and most importantly areas where they would like to collaborate on similar interests of be it technical or more otherwise. This is also one of the main opportunities for the OpenMRS team to better understand the needs of the community and align activities (and roadmaps) to what is happening on the ground in the various implementations.

Through the feedback we have received from our last calls, we will also be sharing the progress that the OpenMRS team has made to increase opportunities to collaborate, contribute and engage.

This meeting is open to all, whether you are small private practice to large national implementation, we would love to hear from you!

How much time will each team have to present? Is there a format? Do you want to collect information ahead of time?

Yes we will have a similar format to the previous Community Stand Up. This is a 1.5hr session. community members will have 5-7min to make their presentation around the following:

  • Highlights since last OpenMRS Community Stand Up (aka “Scrum of Scrum”)

  • Upcoming Activities Next Quarter

  • Collaboration Opportunities
