openmrs appointment scheduling giving error

I just installed the openmrs appointment scheduling module and after clicking apply fliters in the manage appointment module, I get these errors.

An Internal Error has Occurred org.springframework.beans.TypeMismatchException

Failed to convert value of type ‘java.lang.String’ to required type ‘java.util.Date’; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: “03/27/2017 00:00”

For super user this error does not show up, but for other users it will show up, but in order to prevent this error users are required to select between dates whenever they are opening manage appointment section. I am interested to see how this error can be solved.

I couldn’t reproduce this in this link, but I can only produce this locally,

When you click Apply filter without selecting between dates will produce an above mentioned error.

In the reference application is working okay. I am using Tomcat 7.0.52 and openmrs platform 2.0.6.
