New to openmrs, can anyone assist? The configure openmrs wizard (step 6), gives the following error:

Unable to create the database. The password might be incorrect or the database is not started.

???Error executing sql: create database if not exists ? default character set utf8 - Could not create connection to database server. Attempted reconnect 3 times. Giving up.???

I know this doesn’t solve your blocker; have you had a chance of using the openmrs-sdk. It’s the best and most appropriate tool for settingup openmrs.

Maybe to address your issue, can you share the full error logs from your servlet container using pastebin.com
