I would like to share some of the challenges we are facing in Ethiopia regarding EMR systems. We are currently using the Bahamni EMR, but it does not fully support several pharmacy functions, including:

Drug dispensing

Pharmacy billing

Store and inventory management

Stock adjustments and reporting

Issue/receive workflows
Due to these gaps, we are exploring global experiences and best practices—especially how other countries or implementations have integrated Odoo systems with Bahamni or OpenMRS to address pharmacy, billing, and inventory management needs.
