Hello, Does openmrs installation comes with preloaded OCD and CPT codes? Also, what about clinical edits?
For example
A male person cannot have certain clinical diagnosis like female. If a doctor selects an incorrect clinical diagnosis, does openmrs handle such situations?
I am new to openmrs and this information will be very helpful.
The concept dictionary can have any codes. However, we recommend not using administrative codes as the terms that users select from clinically. CIEL provides interface terms for clinical use and then maps to ICD-10-WHO and others. It is not for use in the US directly out of the box as it does not have maps to ICD-10-CM or CPT codes (which require special paid licenses). You can link the CIEL dictionary to those codes using the IMO terminology at www.e-imo.com.
