I want to introduce Jennifer Antilla (@jennifer) as our new OpenMRS community manager. Jennifer’s first experience with online communities was in 2007, when she helped set up a virtual community for public health supply chain managers. Three years later, she was introduced to OpenMRS through her work on a capacity building project for KenyaEMR. Since then, Jennifer has managed lab information system implementations and gone on to work with the eSaude team in Mozambique and Malawi’s Kuunika: Data for Action project to develop broader capacity building program covering a range of health information systems.
Over the years, Jennifer has worked with colleagues in Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Malawi Guyana, Cameroon, Tanzania, and Namibia. She says “I like how communities like OpenMRS bring so many different people together - sharing our experiences and watching how this leads to new ideas is really motivating.” Jennifer is excited to be more fully involved with the OpenMRS community in her new role.
We are very excited to welcome Jennifer to the community and look forward to her engagement.
So excited to have you Jennifer and we anxiously look forward to working with you!
It has been a while since we last had some one in this position. I keep running to this link to see how vital your role is, to our community: http://visual.ly.ridder.co/O9Qn7E
