Hello All,

We need your input for Bahmni 2024 roadmap priorities, and suggestions for features/initiatives. If you are an implementer, adopter or someone looking to evaluate/adopt Bahmni, please provide us your suggestions on areas you feel Bahmni should prioritize.

We have created a public WIKI page that summarizes the priorities and intiatives released in 2023, and then provides a high level overview of potential focus areas and ideas for 2024. Read more here: Roadmap Document (WIKI).

You can provide inputs in the following ways:

  1. Wiki: Post a comment (inline, or at the bottom of the page) to this Roadmap Document. You will need to login into Atlassian to be able to post comments.
  2. PAT Call: Join the PAT call scheduled on 7-Feb-2024 (6:30pm India time) over Zoom virtually.We will discuss the roadmap suggestions on this call (and likely the next one too). Click on this link to add to your calendar.
  3. Talk Thread: You can start a new talk thread here, with your feature suggestion. Please ensure it is created in the “Bahmni Category”. Link: Bahmni Talk Forum

Based on the inputs received, available budgets/bandwidth, and pre-existing work-in-progress, the Bahmni coalition and core team members will prioritise the work.

We will be spending 20-30 mins in the PAT call today to talk about the potential goals for 2024.

We will be discussing the potential GOALS for 2024.

At a high level the potential discussion points are:

GOAL 1: SHELF READINESS OF BAHMNI STANDARD FOR HOSPITALS (WITH IPD)
GOAL 2: INCREASE DOCTOR ADOPTION
GOAL 3: IMPROVED PATIENT EXPERIENCE
GOAL 4: COMPREHENSIVE SECURITY POSTURE
GOAL 5: KEEP SOFTWARE COMPONENTS UP-TO-DATE.
