At last!! Though it took me almost a day But Have succeeded with downgrading mysql from 8.0 to 5.7. I discovered there was a folder located at C:\Program Files (x86) that was still existing as @irenyak1 mentioned . And also tomcat was running automatically as soon mysql installation begins; as @spkabugo1 mentioned the advise worked through. Thanks all devs for your help

@kdaud @spkabugo1 Great to hear that it worked.Tomcat runs independently of mysql having it running does not mean mysql is running.
