In Australia our College of health informatics is reviewing a government safety and quality document relating to prescribing and medication ordering. Within the OpenMRS community is there a universal policy on medication listing like Tall Man Lettering with or without associated text formatting?
Terry, this is a good point and I am afraid we have not implemented it currently in the dictionary. We would apply this to the drug table rather than the concept table, I think, and will discuss with William Ogallo.
Andy and William, there is no urgency however if you have any update on this discussion I would be interested as I am addressing a workshop in a clinical pharmacy / medicine department this Friday.
We are planning on introducing tall man lettering for concepts/ingredients but we currently do not have a way within OpenMRS to do that for the drug table where the more specific formulations of drugs are shown.
