maven installation on windows

i realise that after following installation instructions on maven, maven fails to install as proved by not being recognised in cmd

Oh sorry! You may also need the M2_HOME environment variable to be set that is you haven’t . Remember also to close the command window and open a new one to pick up env changes every time you change env variables.

Change the System variable name from “M2_HOME” to “MAVEN_HOME”
