Few of our customers asked for manually correcting the Date of Admission (DoA) for IPD patients. The problem statement is, patient gets admitted late night for emergency, at that time there are no sufficient software trained staff to update the EMR and hence the admission process is carried manually. Next day the clinical data is updated in EMR. This creates discrepancies in records and sometime insurance claim rejection. Is there a way to handle this, anyone has implemented any solution for this?
In the Bahmni clinical screen, one can enter past data – through the Retrospective data entry. Will this be helpful for your use-case?
