Hello OpenMRS Community,
My name is Abdullah Shah. I am a second-semester software engineering student based in Karachi, Pakistan. I am interested in contributing to OpenMRS as part of my journey toward Google Summer of Code 2027.
I have experience with Java and I have already set up the OpenMRS development environment locally. I searched for issues with the “intro” and “good-first-issue” labels on JIRA but did not find any open unassigned issues at the moment.
Could anyone please guide me toward a suitable beginner issue or task I can work on? I am eager to learn the codebase and become a consistent contributor to the community.
