Launch of OpenMRS Academy Level 1 Fundamentals Course

The first OpenMRS Fundamentals course of the OpenMRS Academy was successfully conducted in Mozambique from 29 September to 1 October 2020.

13 people from the Ministry of Health of Mozambique, PEPFAR implementing partners and Eduardo Mondlane University were trained in this inaugural OpenMRS Academy course.

The full report for this course can be found here and we would love to hear your feedback!

In this report, you will be able to see how the Academy was organized, who organized it, who participated, feedback from the participants, strengths and challenges and recommendations for the coming OpenMRS Academy courses.

Go through it, leave us your feedback and join the OpenMRS Academy squad on Thursdays if you are interested in learning about the process or are interested in contributing in any capacity. We are working on closing the full training package for any other country to be able to offer the course to beginners in OpenMRS.

Congratulations @antoniomacheve and team

Well done! Glad to help out. I wondered besides the comment on not having real-time discussion with presenters and practical examples, was there other feedback on the specific modules? What was most informative, was the time allocated correct? Were there areas where we spent too much time and where we needed to spend more? Specific topics that were missed?

Perhaps we can compile the feedback and questions for each module and see about supplementing the video with additional content to make them better?
