Are members interested in or know of this meeting in Kenya?

Kenya’s Ministry of Health will host the e-Health Conference June 22-26 to convene key stakeholders and partners around the challenges of implementing e-health programs across Kenya, East Africa, and the world. Participants will discuss opportunities e-health presents, and the preparedness of healthcare centers for the digital age. The program will follow tracks based on the six WHO Universal Health Coverage components:

  1.   Health financing and universal coverage

  2.   Essential medicines and health products

  3.   Health workforce

  4.   National health policies

  5.   Health statistics and information systems

  6.   Service delivery and safety

Abstract submissions are due June 5.

I certainly would have been interested in such a meeting but the timing is much too close. I don’t know if Jonathan Payne might be free to attend. CIEL and OCL are certainly interested in the terminology and indicators which would be used by most of these systems.
