Issue assigning rights on Jira

Helo Team, it seems i lost permission rights on jira page. i cant find any good first issues, and the only To Do issues i can find. I cant find a way to self assign or even request to be assigned yet am logged in, what should i do? anyone kindly help.

I have finally figured it out, after checking some of the responses to related questions, plus google searches, So i tried all the options I found at once, re-logging in with ID and reaching out to OpenMRSHelpDesk. Am glad it finally worked. Thanks
