am sure SDK is lighter, docker consumes more of your system resources definately
I had internet problem for the whole day, some packets were breaking during the installation. This mvn org.openmrs.maven.plugins:openmrs-sdk-maven-plugin:setup-sdk could lapse for almost 3hours and could throw exceptions. But hopefully to finish tonight

Have been able to finish the setup and have just created a basic module as per the setup and its currently running on the local instance as here in the image. Hope am on the right truck

One thing here that i want to know, whenever i want to access this local instance how do I start up the server. cc: @k.joseph
start mysql (if not starting automatically) then start the server
