Is there any existing Disease Outbreak modules or specific configurations currently implemented within the OpenMRS ecosystem. Are there ways to effectively manage and track outbreak data.

  • Any dedicated modules for surveillance and rapid response.

  • Standardized forms or OCL (Open Concept Lab) collections tailored for outbreak scenarios (e.g., Ebola, Cholera, or COVID-19).

  • Examples of how other implementations have handled contact tracing or case management within openmrs.

Are there any organizations that have implemented something similar or if there are active projects in this area.

Just to update we are working on integrating it with SORMAS tool for surveillance and response.

In what way are you doing this?

We are working on to create a OMOD to map API with SORMAS so the required data is transferred to SORMAS from OPENMRS.
