How to increase tomcat 8 allowed memory?

I’m using tomcat 8 on windows and when I add these parameters under “java options” in tomcat monitor, it doesn’t start. (NB: this worked normally with tomcat 6) How to increase the allowed memory in tomcat 8? Thanks
