We are still in an investigating stage and I had a few more questions.
How is the link to OpenMRS done? Through a URL or a download of the system? Do you utilize a Citrix link for download? Do you think it would be possible for us to have access to two different downloads. Utilizing one as a build environment and then developing the other as a full academic EHR ?

How is the link to OpenMRS done? Through a URL or a download of the system?
OpenMRS is a web application that you can install centrally, or on site at a particular facility. In both cases you access it through the browser.
You can download OpenMRS as many times as you like here. I recommend the standalone version to get up and running quickly for evaluation and the SDK for a development environment.
You can also access a live demo of the system here. The username is admin and the password is Admin123.
