If you want to try OpenMRS with MySQL

I suggest you try https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/OpenMRS+SDK

This can install a https://www.docker.com/ image which runs MySQL for you. The harder part is to install all required software before hand but than you can easily install multiple instances of OpenMRS. I think its worth it.

If you just want MySQL go to https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/ and follow their instructions for your specifc operating system.
