My name is Ishan, and I am a Software Engineering undergraduate from Sri Lanka.
I specialize in Full Stack Development and I am passionate about building developer productivity tools. Recently, I created an open-source CLI tool called “create-backlist” (available on NPM). It uses AST parsing to read frontend code and automatically generate backend patterns, which has received great feedback from the community.

I have been exploring the OpenMRS O3 Frontend stack, and I am very impressed by the architecture. I am eager to contribute to the community, specifically focusing on Frontend projects and Implementer Tools.
My goal is to start contributing now and hopefully participate in GSoC 2026. Looking forward to learning and collaborating with you all!
