Would it be nice to have a discussion around this https://issues.openmrs.org/browse/TRUNK-5113 for its way forward during the OMRS19, Hackathon? For those of us who have tried to work on this ticket will consent with me the the final decision wasn’t reached as per the comments. Apparently we are still using Log4j 1.x which has already reached its EOL though all the occurrences of the apache.commons.logging are replaced with slf4j. Basing on the priority of the the ticket “Must”, I suppose we should come up with a conclusive solution.
