Has anyone implemented HL7 v2 2.5.1 for lab orders and results?

Hi Everyone,

We have a requirement to integrate with a lab system utilizing HL7 version 2.5.1 to send orders to the lab and receive results from the lab. Has anyone already done this?

Hi @criz0214, so far i haven’t come across OpenMRS integration with any Lab System using HL7 standard. Would love to know if any one tried. Can you please let us know which Lab System you are going to use?. In Bahmni Product, we are using OpenELIS for Lab management integrated using ICT4H Atomfeed Sync.
