I am facing problem in setting up jetty. Will it be alright if I proceed further with tomcat?
@f4ww4z Could you guide me for the installation of OpenMRS? Why is this error occuring
?Can you share your error logs using www.pastebin.com?
@aman Following error is popping again and again. https://pastebin.com/02E73rrT
@suprabhat152 Could you list the steps you have followed to get to this ?
I followed youtube video of OpenMRS for installing it.
@varung31@aman Following are the steps -
- Downloaded the Standalone version
- Unzipped the “demodatabase” into the current folder
- Opened openmrs-standalone (executable jar file)
- Moved to “Demonstration mode”
- Then processing started to open the app but in my laptop," OpenMRS is not able to start" appeared
@suprabhat152 I would prefer to use a separate public thread to discuss the issues which you have as this thread will be used to move forward with GSoC guidance for new students.
@suprabhat152 I second this. Also, did you try to use the OpenMRS SDK instead of the standalone version ?
@suthagar23 for this i think we can create a thread for GSOC issues/blockers so as to keep track of all the conversations!!
Regarding the proof of enrollment letter for GSoC students
Students, If any of you have issues with getting your proof of entrolment letters for GSoC due to the lock downs of universities, Please contact GSoC Support team (from Google) to resolve your issues (It could be a common discussion mailing list or gsoc-support@google.com). Better to check the forum before making new requests regarding this issue.
The GSoC Support team might have some alternative plans to move forward with the proof of enrollment as many students can’t get their letters due to the Covid-19 issues these days.
If you have any issues, please let us know immediately.
Thanks.
This discussion might be of help.
