My name is Poonam Taxak, and I am a Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, REST API development, MySQL, Redis, and secure backend systems using JWT authentication.
I am very interested in contributing to OpenMRS for GSoC 2026, specifically the “Extend Audit Log Module” project. I find this project exciting as it involves enhancing system auditing, security logging, and backend reliability, which aligns closely with my experience.
I have previously built backend systems involving authentication, API security, and scalable architecture, and I am eager to apply these skills in a real-world healthcare system like OpenMRS.
