GSOC 2025: Interactive Builder for Form Translations within the Form Builder (Interactive Translation Builder?) - Dwayne

Hi everyone,

I’m Dwayne Dehoedt, an undergraduate student at SLIIT with a passion for opensource development. I’m eager to participate in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 and contribute to OpenMRS. One project that particularly caught my attention is “Interactive Builder for Form Translations within the Form Builder.”

I have reviewed the project details and understand the core objective of improving the user experience for form translations. I have already been working on some issues and start contributing to the project, but I would like to gain a deeper understanding of how form translations are currently managed within OpenMRS. I’m also looking forward to more advice and guidance to enhance my contributions.

Additionally, would there be an opportunity to connect with mentors or contributors for a discussion on the project scope and expectations? Any guidance on how to prepare effectively would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to your response. Thanks for your time!
