Yes, here https://github.com/Andu033/GSoC2019/tree/master/src. Look in src/thumbnail.js and thumbnailController.js. My problem is that i don’t know how to read a file to pass it to thumbnail, also i don’t know if i create a proper controller. I did a function that return MIME type.

@mksd , was this the project aimed to add DICOM support to the Attachments module ?? i came a crossthis project here.

I dont understand. It seems to me that this project aimed at DICOM support ,however the module doesnt support DICOM.

thanks @mksd . Can we add it to this year’s GSOC2020 projects, and would you help offer the mentorship ??

I won’t mentor this year and I’m reluctant to add anything that is not properly specified.

  • If that project is about adding backend handlers, fine. And as I said elsewhere this can as well go into Core btw.
  • If that’s about the UI, not fine, we invest in the MF UI, not in this old Attachments UI anymore.

@jdick that makes me think that we need a patient attachments/documents UI.
