Getting an error when setting up OpenMRS core

Hi everyone. I was trying to setup openmrs core but I’m getting this same error. Why is that and how can I fix that

I tried to go through several talk threads and documentations and non of them are working for me. And also I’m setting up in macOS

@jayasanka @wikumc @manojll @dkayiwa

I’ve tried several things. Like downgrading the versions of jdk and mysql. and also dropped the previous table with the same name. none of them work. even though mysql service is running.

here’s the terminal logs

Can you try this on a different browser or using the incognito mode?

What could the logs be saying at this point?

Is it Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) or Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)? Share the logs please!

Also can you try the advanced installation step?

Does this thread speak to you?

That is a known issue. As per his logs you see this: ‘using password: No’. Clearing the browser cache or using incognito as @wikumc suggested should do the trick.

Using an incognito browser worked. Thanks @wikumc, @dkayiwa and @mherman22
