Generating a Unique MRS ID Number During patient Registration

I a trying to generate a unique ID during the patient registration but that is not working and saving either. Please kindly advise. I’m saving it but its continuously giving me an error message. How can I resolve this?

Hello Juliet, I realized that I was going through the Version OpenMRS and hence encountered this. With help from tendomart, I managed to get the OpenMRS 03 and it seems OK. My apologies for not snipping the original page and sending it. I accidently clicked out of the page. I still need help as I am starting my OpenMRS Journey as well.
