Form Components

Hi everyone,

I was going through the OpenMRS Wiki and came across the section on Core Concepts – Form Components. It mentions the ability to create form components using the Form Builder.

However, in the current version of the Form Builder, I don’t see those options available. Just wondering — has this feature been removed intentionally, or is it something that hasn’t been implemented yet?

Thanks in advance!

You can do so in https://dev3.openmrs.org/openmrs/spa/form-builder

You can learn more about form components here https://openmrs.org/academy/form-builder-course

Actually, it’s not the same as in the docs! in the docs when saving a form, you can choose Encounter Type as component and in the form dashboard you can filter components, but those two options are not there anymore

I’ve went through this course a while ago I don’t think it mentions form components!

This is not implemented in the current version of the form builder.

Thanks @nethmi, i am already working on it as i found a ticket about it in jira but i think the ticket description should be modified because it dosent mention adding a “component” filter in the dashboard and “component” as an encounter type while saving forms. Plus when referencing a component the interactive builder dosent show the section and questions of that component!

I’ve likely not fully fledged out that ticket with all the background information on it.
