Hi guys, am having trouble trying to access mysql via the terminal, when i use the $ mysql -u root -p command, it prompts me for mysql password, but then, after entering the password, i get the following error, i would appreciate your help. ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’ (2)
