I’m struggling to figure out how to make sure that any forms that I build can get pushed for the distro repo so that they can persist accross everyone who is working with the same distro repo as me. I’m wondering if saving and publishing automatically does this or if additional steps are needed. I saw “Alternatively, upload your schema to the distro repo to have it persisted across server resets” in past docs but I don’t understand if this means I need to make further changes than just clicking save and publish.

Fantastic question @austinmann and we should definitely make this more clear in the docs. I believe you need to put the json files in your config under /ampathforms (sorry for the weird path name); here is an example of how a distribution did exactly that: openmrs-distro-referenceapplication/distro/configuration/ampathforms at working · UCSF-IGHS/openmrs-distro-referenceapplication · GitHub
