<encounterDate> of HTML Form Entry doesn't allow retrospective entry

The ‘encounterDate’ tag of the HTML Form Entry module doesn’t allow older dates to be entered.

This necessity arises when data is captured offline and needs to be entered into the electronic system on a much later date. Looks like this is not possible.

Are there any attributes of ‘encounterDate’ that can be set to record older encounter dates on HTML forms.

Thanks!

The visit date is what determines the date. Is this the same case for you when you use ‘‘Add Past Visit’’?

Encounter date is tied to a visit date. So if your visit date is today, you won’t be able to enter any date before today.

Hope this helps.

John

Yes! It works when a past visit is added (I was not aware of the past visit workflow)

Thanks a lot @jesplana !
