Hi everyone,

I am Emmanuel Katto, currently working on setting up an interoperability system involving OpenMRS, HAPI FHIR, and OpenHIM for seamless integration with other health applications. Specifically, I am focusing on connecting OpenMRS to the HAPI FHIR server and OpenHIM, both in terms of data exchange and integration in both directions.

I have already experimented with tools like the OpenMRS FHIR Analytics Module and the Atom Feed Module, but I have encountered several challenges in the configuration process. It seems like there may be some nuances or issues I’m missing when connecting these systems.

Has anyone else worked on configuring OpenMRS with HAPI FHIR or OpenHIM? If so, could you share a detailed, step-by-step guide or provide any troubleshooting tips? I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions, resources, or personal experiences that could help streamline this process.
