Darshan Hiranandani : Issue with Accessing Bahmni from External Machines

Hi Team,

I’m encountering an issue where I can no longer access Bahmni from any machine other than the server itself. I would appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this.

  1. Access Restriction:
  • Has anyone experienced an issue where Bahmni can only be accessed from the server and not from other machines? What could be causing this restriction?
  1. Connectivity Problem:
  • Is there a known reason why Bahmni is accessible only from the server? Are there specific network or configuration settings that might be affecting access from other machines?
  1. Firewall or Security Settings:
  • Could firewall or security settings be blocking access to Bahmni from machines other than the server? If so, how can we adjust these settings to enable access?
  1. Network Configuration:
  • Are there any network configuration changes needed to allow access to Bahmni from external machines? What steps should we follow to ensure proper connectivity?

Thank you for your assistance!

Best regards, Darshan Hiranandani

Hlo @darshanhiranandani Since the instance is accessible via your server, but not other clients, its likely you might need to address (3 and maybe 4 if it persists), that is configure your server firewall/security rules accept external traffic…

You might need to allow access from specific IP addresses of your client machines, which is more secure… or simply set it public, so that any client machine can have access…
