Could you help to build the User Testing community?

We’re building an exciting new group of clinicians and healthcare providers that are willing to participate in occasional remote user testing of new OpenMRS features and tools.

Our goal is to scale feedback loops to a wider range of people, places and contexts so we’re able to make more informed decisions through improved confidence scores in our unmoderated usability tests about the direction of the OpenMRS product and how it supports our community.

Would you be able to help us recruit providers from your organizations or those you work closely with?

Who we’re looking for…

  • Healthcare staff who use some form of documentation in their care (paper or electronic) who are interested in providing feedback on ideas and designs.
  • Location: ideally those who are living and working in LMICs.
  • Ideally they should be a “normal level” technology user - meaning, no knowledge of programming, not a super-user. They can be an Admin or Leader, but should still be representative of any typical user you might find at any facility.

We’ll typically send out links via WhatsApp to an online tool that allows participants to feedback in a simple, user-friendly way. We’ll try where possible to optimise the tests for small screens.

If you have colleagues who would like to be added to our list, they can join the group here.

Please do let me know if you have any questions and thanks for sharing the forms link with your networks
