RefApp 3.3.0 is almost out!
In a few days, we’ll be releasing the RefApp version 3.3.0, as you may have realized from @nethmi’s post here: OpenMRS RefApp 3.3.0 QA Release 🎉
Time to plan for 3.4.0!
We’re already planning for RefApp 3.4 now! Here are a few main goals that have been suggested in our O3 Squad calls on Thursdsays. What do you think of these goals? Are there other ideas that are likely to be done and tested in time for the Test Release cut date of March 21?
Ideas proposed so far:
- Features:
- Age-based Range Alerts Added in RefApp (issue)
- Visit Headers for clearer visit date context
- Ward App v1
- Tech Debt & Maintenance:
- Carbon version upgrades: No breaking changes expected but will have sweeping UI impact → careful QA review will be required.
- Using the OpenmrsDatePicker component consistently across all apps (same one in Registration App DOB & Form Engine)
- React 19: For maintenance & new compiler tooling.
