Our conversation this week takes a look at our relationship with service providers and implementing partners. Is there a difference between these two groups? If so, what is it? What do Service Providers and Implementing Partners share in terms of interests and challenges? What does the OpenMRS community provide service providers? Implementing partners?
If you need a refresher or are new to this, below is our definition of a service provider as found on the Service Provider Wiki page:
Service Provider: an organization that has the commitment and capacity to perform software development, advising, training, and/or implementation work using and promoting products in the OpenMRS ecosystem.
Over the course of the next week, we’ll have the discussion on Talk, during Office Hours, and during our Thursday, 7 March Strategy and Operations meeting at 5pm UTC/8pm Nairobi/12pm Boston/9am Seattle
