Come join us at the OpenHIE Implementers meeting for an OpenMRS OpenELIS Lab interoperability showcase!

Hi all! The University of Washington Digital Initiatives Group (DIGI) and I-TECH Cote d’Ivoire will present on the national-scale lab interoperability using FHIR that’s in use in Cote d’Ivoire and is exchanging data with OpenELIS Global! This is a great demonstration of global goods at scale, and we hope you will join us!

Let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anything in particular you’d like to see covered!

Lab Information Systems: New Workflow with EMR / OpenMRS Tuesday 18 March 9-10 am ET | 1-2 pm UTC | 2-3 pm WAT | 3-4 pm SAST | 4-5 pm EAT Join us for an Implementers Network call focused on the current landscape of Lab Information Systems efforts in the OpenHIE community led by University of Washington. We’ll also hear about a new workflow between LIS/LMIS and OpenMRS, utilizing FHIR standards “out-of-the-box”, and we’ll hear from representatives from Cote d’ivoire who are currently setting up this workflow in their health systems. (Check out this demo of the workflow in advance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdPM6KLcGQo&t=135s!) This call is open to all and we hope you’ll bring your questions and pressing needs around Lab Information Systems efforts in HIE. We will also use this session as an opportunity to understand current priorities and challenges and how the community can best address them in follow-up LIS sub-community calls.
