Can't Assign Group Ownership?

I am trying to transfer my group ownership over to another but can’t seem to find this selection in the setting in the tool drop down for each member. I am an owner of the group so not sure why I can’t make someone else an owner. Thoughts?

Note I can remove people but not change ownership @dkayiwa.

Does not make sense to me too. Probably it requires elevated privileges. I can help you transfer the ownership.

See last sentence of this post announcing Discourse’s group owner feature:

Group owners may not add or remove other group owners, that must be done from by a site admin.
