Due to a small incident discovered earlier today, I’ve taken steps to restrict permissions for most users in Bamboo. As @burke frequently reminds us, the principle behind the OpenMRS community permissions is that we try to very open, allowing most contributors a broad range of permissions to our various components and generally rely on trust rather than technical controls. In accord with that principle, I’ve tried to ensure that all users will continue to have access to run all of our build pipelines, while allowing us to implement tighter access control for one or two more sensitive projects.
Hopefully this is a change that no one in the community really notices, but if you find yourself unable to do something in Bamboo you need to do, please get in touch!
