I probably won’t be able to attend, but I’d like to know what Bahmni’s plans are for ICD-11 coverage. I posted in the Community slack.

Thanks… re:ICD-11, it depends on how countries want to implement ICD-11. It is rare that they can simply switch over completely without any continuity of data, terminology, etc. The CIEL strategy is simply to provide ICD-11 maps for all existing concepts so there is no change at all. Prospective data entry using ICD-11 is possible, but poses the same issue for OpenMRS as SNOMED server does… and of course, is completely orthogonal to SNOMED. If SNOMED provides an ICD-11 map from their concepts to fully-specified, post-coordinated ICD-11, that would be great and would work with the existing snowstorm model. However, I think most are going to need to have the interface terminology to SNOMED and ICD-11 model.

I would like to have some Bahmni sites provide their statistics as part of the OpenMRS Concept Prevalence Study (OpenMRS Concept Prevalence Study Info Materials - Google Drive). This would also help us prioritize which concepts require mapping, not to mention provide some value to the site knowing how their concepts overlap and interoperate with other sites.
