The Bahmni Coalition has an exciting opportunity for a consultant for a 12-month contract to serve as the Bahmni Community Director. The Bahmni Community Director is a critical position to the long-term success of the Coalition. The key responsibilities of this consultancy are to ensure engagement within the Coalition, to define and execute a shared road map, to ensure management and operations needs of the coalition are addressed, and to identify funding opportunities for the Coalition and coordinate funding applications and reporting.
Bahmni is a community-driven open source Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) integrating OpenMRS Electronic Medical Record (EMR), OpenELIS Laboratory Information System (LIS), and Odoo Stock Management and Billing. Bahmni has an estimated 75+ implementations in 25+ countries. The Bahmni Coalition is a group of organizations who are working together to establish and execute a common roadmap for the Bahmni product, to jointly resource the Bahmni project, and to coordinate in enhancing the Bahmni product. This Coalition is currently made up of over 15 diverse organizations - non-governmental organization, software development and implementation organizations and academic institutions.
