Debugging the Module with OpenMRS-SDK using IDE

I want to assign myself one of the Attachment Module ticket to work on. Since I am so new with OpenMRS platform, I am having hard-time to figure out how to debug the Module under the SDK using either Netbeans or Eclipse IDE. I also would like to configure the log4j to print out log messages. If any one have a good procedure of how to setup the IDE to debug the module, please let me know. Very respect, -Ott Sathngam

I would not recommend to run it from Eclipse, I would run it 1) in debug mode with the SDK and 2) connect a remote debugger from Eclipse. 1) Run the server with debug port 58080 mvn openmrs-sdk:run -Dport=8080 -Ddebug=58080 -DserverId=platform-2-1-3 2) Setup a remote debugger on port 58080 [image] Don’t forget to add the cloned Core’s sources to the ‘Remote Java Application’ ‘Source’ tab.
