Many days I see one or two messages marked by the Akismet plugin as being spam. Almost always they are not spam. (But they’re being held back until someone approves them.)

I’m not sure this is helping us overall. Perhaps we should remove/disable the plugin?
Good question, it’s a paid service, as far as I remember. Not sure if it’s only on talk or if it’s used somewhere else.
I’m the lead developer for Akismet. I’ve looked at your false positive reports and made some adjustments, so hopefully, Akismet will begin performing better for you soon.
