Often we get so fixated on how AI can help with Clinical Decision Support (which comes with huge patient safety QA & privacy needs) - and then we forget how helpful AI could be with grunt-work and boring stuff. But automating that day-to-day procedural stuff can be very impactful!
My favorite use case for AI for OpenMRS right now is auto-translation of our training videos.
Here are 3 amazing examples. Using ElevenLabs’ Dubbing Studio, I took short snippets from existing OpenMRS videos on YouTube. I’ve shared these 3 examples with multiple Francophone colleagues who were all very impressed with the quality of translation! I was suspicious that the model would not work well for non-Western accents, but I was wrong: I’m amazed how well it did even with our 3 very different accents.

I think we should use this tool or something like it to auto-translate our key O3 Academy courses into French at least, and probably Spanish as well. These are the languages ElevenLabs currently supports.
