Adding more information to home page

Is there a way to add more information on the openmrs home page(body section and footer) without touching the core? see this image for illustration

, there is need to include facility name and their logo on the body section and include some information in the footer. Which extension points can use in a custom module to realize that? @mksd @raff @darius @dkayiwa

This 1.11.x platform. I haven’t tried that module yet, what what is needed is to include more information on the body and footer of that shared screen

@dkayiwa generally I want to override this portlet and this add some information here automatically within a custom module without touching the core directly
