Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist based in Santiago, Chile. Founder of a collaborative, grassroots mental health initiative. I am currently configuring an OpenMRS O3 instance to provide free web infrastructure to a small team (a physician, a child/adolescent clinical psychologist, and myself), with a cooperative ethos to deliver high-quality, affordable mental health care to underserved populations.

Beyond this pilot project, my long-term vision is to establish a scalable blueprint for independent healthcare professionals in Chile. Due to major regulatory shifts coming into effect this year—including strict interoperability mandates (Law 21.668) and tougher data protection frameworks—independent practitioners are cornered by basic, certified commercial EMR systems with predatory maintenance costs. I want to prove that OpenMRS O3 can be a robust, compliant, and accessible open-source alternative for independent health networks in our country. I have a solid clinical background but am entirely new to Linux, Docker, and server deployment, so I am eager to learn from this community and give back as our project evolves.
