Adding to what @jennifer has just said, many of these library upgrades, fix serious security vulnerabilities. Therefore, your work is making OpenMRS more secure!

Hello guys , now am seeing many of your PRs have merge conflicts. it has been brought up that some PRs to upgrade libraries have been merged , yet You didnt pull those latest merged changes into your local copies of the core.

Since all the PRs are affecting one file the POM , whenever youll make a PR without having the latest merged changes , it will result into merge conflicts. in otherwords , before you attempt to push , first make sure you pull the latest merged changes in the openmrs Upstream master. do this before you push
git pull --rebase upstream master

cc @ruhanga @c.antwi , can i stop the sprint and we go with the work that has been so far , or we still have some more time depending on your schedule of activities?? Though i want to once again thank all the participants. Sure guys have done a wonderful job.

@mozzy a sprint is not open ended. Each sprint has a fixed end date which is not a moving target. Did you get a chance to look at these?

@dkayiwa . Am organising a demo , ill post the updates soon

Hello participants , i want to thank you for all the work you have done upgrading our libraries. Now in prepartion for our sprint demo ,though it has come a litle bit late , i woud like to inform all those that had their Prs merged and their tickets closed , to do a little research on the impact of their changes ,thats is say improving security ,etc . NB this can be done by reading a little further on the release notes of the different dependencies that were upgraded. So that each participant can present in the Demo a summary of the siginificance and impact of of their changes that were merged. Thanks

The presentation about each library should be a summary of how the library upgrade affects openmrs say in terms of security , and probably key features added in the upgraded library

Can we post the presentations here so those of us who cannot be on the call can view the presentations and comment/question?
